I wanted to write an article on PayPal holding money as there are tons of people out there, maybe even you, struggling with their funds being held by PayPal.

So happy to have you here.

I may be able to help you as I’ve helped over 10,000 95,000 308,000 people who have watched and still continue to watch my video on this very topic.

And so I decided to lay it all out in an article for you to refer back to when you need to.

If you’re a lazy reader, watch the video below then come back to the article to get all the info.

Read till the end, where I will share exactly what you need to do for PayPal to release your funds. This has even worked on the infamous 180 day holds…

Now, as you may or may not know, PayPal is the biggest digital payments thieves… erm, I mean platform in the world and while it’s a convenient service to have, there are a TON of companies and users complaining about them and how they do business.

I’ll show you over 8,000 complaints 28,837 complaints of theirs in a moment…

If you cannot op then BBB link, try this VPN.

There are even websites like screwpaypal.com, paypalsucks.com and so on dedicated to blowing the lid off how PayPal treats users and so on.

THE LONG AND SHORT OF IT ALL IS THAT PAYPAL IS A BULLY AND A BIG ONE AT THAT.

They use bully tactics and most of the time, we can’t do anything about it, they know it and they do not give a damn about you.

it is what it is

Especially when residing outside of the USA. Nah, scrap that… even if you’re IN the USA, you’re nothing but just another number to them.

Before I share my story with you, please don’t fall for all these crappy videos or articles online showing you how to “Hack PayPal” or how to get your money back through other methods. It won’t work and you’ll either end up getting scammed or just make the situation worse.

Keep your nose clean and you’ll get results…

In saying that, PayPal sucks (if I haven’t made that clear before) and if I can help just one person get their money back from these cyberbullies, that makes all of this worth it.

So with that out the way, let me share my story with you and then try and help you with getting your funds withdrawn from PayPal.

The legitimate way.

PayPal Holding Money

See, for about 6 years now I have been using PayPal. In the last 2 years alone, PayPal has processed over $1 million through 1 of my accounts.

Heck, I even had my own personal account manager whom I used to speak with over the phone at least once per month.

Things were going great. I got personalised presentations about how my account is doing, etc etc.

PP-Presentation

Life was good.

Until one fateful day in December of 2018…

Account Permanently Limited

I opened my email and BOOM… there it was… “Your account has been permanently limited.

paypal holding money

Just like that…

No explanation as to why… nothing.

Naturally, I got on the phone with my account manager and to my shock, her attitude towards me was a reflection of what I received in the mail. Cold. Heartless and unwilling to help.

My days of using PayPal was over. Forever.

I tried opening a new account and it went well for about a month… BOOM… another email. Account permanently limited.

During all of this, I tried finding out exactly why this happened and time and again I was told the same thing… “closed due to violating our acceptable use policy“.

What bloody acceptable use policy, PayPal?

PayPal’s Acceptable Use(less) Policy

Let’s have a gander at this Acceptable Use Policy… shall we. (hint: it sucks)

First of all, this was last updated over 4 years ago… 1 July 2015.

UPDATE: The last update now magically shows November 10, 2021… Lovely.

Still the most useless Policy in existence.

It takes you like 2 seconds to read through it as there’s hardly anything on there…

Actually, it’s so short that I can post the whole thing in one screenshot.

PP-Policy

Secondly, nothing about what I do or sell has changed since 2013 but all of a sudden, now it’s become a problem. None of which are even mentioned in this idiotic, convoluted policy of theirs.

Why on earth would I have an account manager, if I was doing anything dodgy??

Why?

So now, I was hit with my accounts being limited permanently and I had to wait 180 days to withdraw my money.

While this completely sucked, I didn’t know what to do and so I left it. Thousands of dollars, just sitting there…

Here’s where it gets interesting though.

After counting the days and waiting for the full 180 days… I logged into my bank, ready to withdraw the money. And so of course, I still wasn’t able to withdraw MY money.

I phoned PayPal and because I live in South Africa, I get routed to the call centre in the Philipines of all places. They couldn’t help and transferred me to the USA.

Now, this happened so many times I lost count. Nobody could help me. On multiple occasions. Because for some reason, as soon as you ask anything outside of the script they have in front of them, they get all flustered and don’t know what to do.

I was met with arrogance and in one instance I was even told to “google it“. By a supervisor. Yeah!

The only solution I was given was to link a USA bank account to my PayPal to withdraw the money.

Luckily I had a US bank account, but of course, this didn’t work either.

I did some further digging and found over 140 PayPal email addresses whom I eventually mailed.

So here’s the thing… and this I believe is going to help you out.

The Solution

If ever you’re in a situation where PayPal refuses to release your funds, you simply go to a website called the Better Business Bureau.

If you cannot op then BBB link, try this VPN.

Although I thought I was pissing in the wind against PayPal, I still gave it a shot. Didn’t really have much else to lose other than the thousands of dollars sitting in with PayPal.

Opened a case with the BBB and within one month, a PayPal representative from the Executive Escalations department contacted me and helped me.

BBB

I use the word “helped” very loosely as the whole process of dealing with PayPal has been incredibly painful.

Not even mentioning the hoops you have to jump through just to open a and validate a Business account with them, but I digress.

A note about Paypal and the BBB…

PayPal Complaints

Even though Paypal has an A+ A rating, there are over 8000 28,837 complaints!! (*as of April 2022)

PayPal Complaints

To put things into perspective… (*as of April 2022)

If you cannot op then BBB link, try this VPN.

VISA has 126 complaints

MasterCard has 55 81 complaints

Skrill has 34 89 complaints

WePay has 83 114 complaints

Dwolla has 4 4 complaints

Stripe has 606 complaints

AND then…

The ENTIRE $1 Trillion company called Amazon “only” has 14,000 26,225 complaints

UPDATE: Funny how some of the company’s complaints above have dropped, yet PayPal’s just continues to increase.

I managed to get my USA account added through further security verification nonsense, but hey… it’s done.

The sad, not so sad part is that I won’t be able to use PayPal anymore and to be honest, that’s OK. It was good while it lasted I guess and I would much rather do business with legitimate companies who actually care about their clients.

Again…

it is what it is

The aim of this article and my video is to help you guys out there as it’s mind-blowing how many people are being bullied and taken for a ride by PayPal… and PayPal just keeps getting away with it.

It’s absolute nonsense and it needs to stop.

So, To Recap…

If you ever have issues with PayPal, simply open a case with the BBB. I’ll put the link in the description below.

If you cannot op then BBB link, try this VPN.

Further to that, here’s my list of PayPal email addresses as well as links to all the District Attorneys in the states where PayPal operates for you to contact as well.

To find almost ANY email address from companies, try THIS.

Disclaimer to PayPal… This information isn’t secret or confidential as they are readily available online… it’s just a mission having to find them yourself.

This may be obvious advice to some, but to those who didn’t know… I truly hope it helps you out as it most definitely did for me and I waited over 200 days for my money..

The more people who stand up against PayPal Holding Money, the better
